"California Here we come, right back where we started from..."

Trip Review:
As some may know, the Vegas Trip turned into a California trip to go see the Rachel.
The Rachel lives in Oceanside California, and we arrived there on Friday afternoon around 4:45 ish.
I think Rachel missed us cause when she greeted us while we were still in the car she climbed on top of the roof of the car and slid down the windshield to peer in at us and screamed to the top of her lungs "YAY!!!"...I don't have normal friends. ( Not that I would want it any other way)
We spent that night being lazy as we were extremely tired from our trip. So we stayed in Rachels apartment for the night and watched Angel season one. Tim even watched a little but quickly fell asleep. He pretended to be interested anyway. Then everyone relaxed in a hottub while I soaked my feet. I didnt feel like getting in ok!
Saturday was more of an active day. Becky spent time with her uncle, and he is way cool! (he gave her a Buffy cast photo with all the Buffy cast signatures on it!) And Rachel and I spent time in a Rude Doctors office trying to get Rachel some prescriptions cause she was sick. But they wouldn't give her any Medicine , and she ended up paying 35 dollars to wait for 2 hours so the doctor could tell her she has a virus, which she already knew. I stole many tongue depressors, and medical gloves, and some alcohol pads from the doctor.....I feel good about it after how rude the doctor was. Tee hee ;) Glove balloons!!!!
Later we made many trips to three different Walmarts Buying Rachel a TV in the process and me an air mattress. Rachel and I ate at lovely Mimi's Cafe', and we ordered a raspberry cheese cake that had all the raspberry sauce on the plate and it was very dark red, and looked like blood, so we took many pictures of us playing with it and being evil. Although when it came time to actually eat it we had a hard time. Cause with the looking like real blood...yuck!
Later that night We went to a great Italian restaurant that sells the best dessert ever! I ordered the Yummiest tiramisu in the US of A! And we had a great time there. Later we watched almost all of Phantom of the Opera at Tim's apartment, before heading back to the Rachels to get some rest for our long trip home.
We got up on Sunday at freakin six in the morning to pack and get on the road. It was sad to say goodbye to Rachel and I will miss her muchly!!
Becky took the first shift cause I was still kinda sleepy. She was "a truck driving magic mama!"
Becky drove for five hours straight! And then I took over but got pulled over by a cop only two hours into the drive. I was only going like 98 MPH!!! And the speed limit was 75.....so...yes......I was speeding a smidgen.
Becky didn't want me to drive anymore cause I would only drive the speed limit for fear of cops and so she drove again like the driving freak she is. We made it home in record time!!! Able to then rush home in time for our mothers day dinners!!! Go us!!!
Anywho, it was a fun trip to Cali and I miss you Rachel!!! and I hope that everything is going well!!! I love your freakin guts!!!!

Side Note: Rachel bought her first Season of Angel! GO RACHEL!!

What? Rachel bought Angel? When?
I feel like I wasn't even there for the California trip because I was tired the whole time. I had planned to see my Uncle while Rachel was at work, and then she was a dork and called in sick to work. Then I came back from my Uncle's but Nat and Rach were not there. Then when I caught up with them, I fell asleep (not of my own accord) and they went to Walmart. Then we watched Phantom and went to bed. I hardly got to see Rachel at all and I feel like it is John's fault a lot.
So, sorry Rach that I am such a dork. Please forgive me.

Hi! I found your blog by way of a Technorati search for Buffy. I am a new Buffy convert and am just starting the 4th Season (and the first season of Angel - which I LOVE so far). I started a Live Journal and have been looking for people to discuss the Buffster with - come on over and comment if you'd like - I'll put your blog on my RSS reader. Here's my LJ page.

Glad your friend bought Angel! Are you a fan of Firefly too? I'm sooooo looking forward to Serenity!! Wish I could go to one of the previews of it on May 26th, but alas it is not playing anywhere near me :(

Anyway, glad I found your blog :)
