People are strange, when your a stranger...
I am very weirded out at how strange some people are. I woke up at two in the morning to a strange girl in our apartment yelling at Amy because she was nailing something to the ceiling. Yes, Amy probably shouldn't have been doing that at 2 AM, but what right does that girl have to come into our apartment and start yelling at her? Has she not heard of phones? I didn't wake up to Amy's nailing...but I did to the girl in our apartment.
I think she was one of the people from downstairs, they hate us anyway...but now they probably hate us even more.
One day I ran through the apartment...I did it once, then I had stopped. They came running upstairs and knocked on our door to tell me to stop running cause it was shaking their kitchen. Well I am sorry that I ran for two seconds and you feel the need to come bounding up the stairs to tell me to stop.I would also like to say that if they have a problem with even the smallest noises...then they shouldn't live on the bottom floor. I saw that the apartment upstairs needs a couple of new roommates, why don't you move there you morons!!
Sorry, I felt the need to rant.

Ah yes, the pain of living on the bottom floor, I know it well. I live on the bottom floor and my upstairs neighbors do step aerobics and they are very loud. At first I hated them, but then they started giving us treats everytime they made noise because they felt bad. In addition, they began inviting us to their parties that were, oh so loud! But if you get an invite then you can't be bitter. So I say to you, Natalie as a loud person, that the bottom floor can be a bane, but you must be courteous because I feel their pain.
As for Amy nailing the ceiling at 2am, that is just inconsiderate. Was what she was nailing to the ceiling so important that it had to be nailed at 2am. I speak for the wake up early community when I say that some people have work and school in the morning and to be awoken by someone pounding on your floor is an unpleasant occurance. Any ranting and raving that upstairs or downstairs girl made was well deserved.
In conclusion, be courteous, give snacks to compensate for noise, invite to parties, mend bridges, don't nail things at late hours, and walk lightly because your neighbors are your friends, very secretly.
