I hate Mondays
I really hate Mondays...really, really I do. I feel like Garfield in that way. Didn't he hate Mondays? Or he hated the pie in the face on Mondays. I just remember every Monday he would get the pie in the face thing going on. Poor kitty, I hope he doesn't have pie fear...although I would think that he would just eat it anyway. There may be some deep rooted emotional scares left over from that pie fiasoc...YOU DON'T KNOW!
Anyway, the reason I hate Mondays...or at least this Monday, is that I am still sick. Yes Still!!! I have a high fever and a headache, and I feel really dizzy right now. So if half the things I say on this blog don't make any sense...you now know why.
Anyway, on to better news...
I am trying to get to the point where I can publish a new post on my blog everyday, or every other day. This is to keep you, the gentle viewers at home happy. Isn't that nice of me? speaking of gentel viewers, I have learned about a play written by Tom Lenk. He is also the main star of the show. It is appropriately titled "Will you be my special friend?" Every week Tom has a new guest who is his "special friend" He had Emma Caulfield, who played Anya, on as a friend once. Tom has set up the play to be some sort of Mister Rogers show type of a feel. He comes in and changes from a blazer to a sports jacket, and trades in the nice work shoes for a pair of tennis shoes. He then begins the play by singing songs, much like Mister Rogers would.
I wish that I could go to see this, I think that it would be hilarious. He also apparently has his mother go up on the stage towards the end of his show to read a poetry, or tell a bed time story. The tickets are only 15$ so if you find yourself in the La Area, check out the Acme Comedy Theater.

What did Mondays ever do to you? I really think you're drawing conclusions on Mondays where no conclusions should be drawn. Monday has wonderful and great qualities to it that really should not be over looked. For instance, the pie in the face thing, that's just Monday saying, "Hey, here's some yummy pie. Hope your week goes well!" Because really, who doesn't like pie. And the pie straight to the face really saves on having to wash silverware and who knows how many plates. Also Mondays have that whole "beginning of the week" thing going on. Where you have the weekend to look forward. When it is the weekend, you got nothing to look forward to except another week because we all know you're not thinking about the following weekend cuz its so far away it is a speck in the distance. I'm just saying, give Monday a chance. With your help, with mine and with all the Monday lovers out there I really think we can work together to make Monday a better day for everyone. WHO'S WITH ME? WHO'S WITH ME? YEAH!
Beck,
A pie in the face just isn't funny anymore. And it is kinda hard to eat it that way...not to mention messy.
Mondat means another week of work, and work...not so much fun. I think I will stick with my hating Monday. You hate Monday too...just admit it Becky!!!!
