Hello Becky

(Since no one else comments on my blog, I am only going to address her) I have been told to post a new blog, because apparently mine is getting boring...Ahem. So without further introduction I give you. (trumpet music plays) My new post!
I have just recently finished moving into an apartment. Let me tell you, the moving process...Not fun. I know that a lot of you have been there and done that, so you can relate. I didn't realize how much useless stuff I had. What intrigued me more was that even though I knew that it was useless...I would say to myself "Self, you have many great memories attached to this box of Archie comic books." Then I would proceed to put the box back in the closet and repeat the process with the old X-men comic books. So very sad...I am pathetic. Although I did not bring either of these Items to the new apartment...I kept them. I did however bring a James Marsters calendar. I also had a hard time justifying the need to bring all Buffy merchandise to the apartment. You see my room now...There is no doubt in your mind that I am an obsessed fan of the show. I now have my own Buffy shrine, and an autograph wall...and what Buffy apartment room can go without a trusty cardboard Spike Life size stand up? I mean really.
The point to this drabble is...I had an interesting week of filling up boxes with stuff I hadn't seen for years. It brought back great memories of pipe cleaner wormies, and Archie comic book marathons. Hopefully some of you can relate. Or I should probably rephrase that to I hope Becky can relate. She is the only one that really comments. Go Becky! You kill the best! As for you other sort of "friends" that claim to care...You know who you are..More importantly I know who you are and I know where you live! Ok, empty threats not too scary....but come on people...Becky cant do this by herself!

I carry the torch of commenting on your blog alone. It sometimes feels like a heavy duty, but then it is not at all and its tons of fun. In your face all the people who are not me!
I know too well the packing and unpacking process and the moving thing too. Having moved back and forth from Hawaii for two years and having to fit everything I own in two suitcases was a difficult task. I have learned to live without the frivolties in life. The only luxury that I allotted myself was shoes. Every semester I would mail my shoes home with me and then mail them back with me. It was sooo worth it! Tumbling through old things and putting them in boxes to live at your parents house for all eternity is way cool! I have like 5 boxes at my parents and a whole bookshelf of books because its mighty expensive and heavy to mail books to yourself. Now that I'm all local and have a car to move all my stuff I think that I hoard more. Hoarding is wrong!
But on the Buffy side of things, I do muchly want to view the Buffy room. I don't have a Buffy room myself, not for lack of pictures, but simply because I'm to cheap to buy frames, to lazy to hang them, and I don't want to frighten my roommate away. If I had my own room I think that i would decorate it to my liking, but alas that I do not. But all the same, invite me over sometime Nat.
As to the Archie comics, I remember and I kept mine as well. They are in a box with all my Goosebumps books (remember how I always read those?) at my parents house. That is how you can claim a home address on any application, if you have junk there still, then it is your permanant address.
On a side note, moving is not always the funnest of occupations, but it sure is productive, cuz when else are you going to clean so thoroughly? But of course I always move all my stuff and then it sits in boxes in my room for at least two weeks before I unpack. Unpacking is so much harder than packing. I don't know why that is. Oh yeah, and did you notice the vast amount of things that you need that you always took for granted would be there because your parents had them at your house? I did when I moved into my first apartment and then I went to Walmart and spent buckets of money. Yeah for Walmart.
On an even sider note, Nat, I've commented on your blog, but you continue to neglect mine. Get with it girl!

I do appreciate the commenting on my blog, although you did fail to accept my invitation to join my blog, I really think that you should upkeep your own. I mean if you don't keep an updated blog than no one is inclined to go there and read the same old posts again and again. Which only leads me to believe that this whole having your own blog was to soon for you, you aren't ready yet and I understand. You should definitely stick to my blog and I'll just reinvite you.
